Maddie Ziegler or Taylor Ziegler?

The famous Maddison Nicole Ziegler wasn't always a Maddison! In fact for the first 2 days of Maddie's life, she was known as Taylor! Although her parents didn't think she was a Taylor and called her Maddison! Maybe they didn't like the name Taylor, maybe it didn't suit her, but I think it would be a little weird saying Taylor and Mackenzie. Personally I think that Maddie's name suits her perfectly. Since Maddie's such a dramatic dancer I think the name Maddie is a little more dramatic. Taylor is more of a singer, or actor's name, but a dramatic dancer... Nope doesn't work! I guess we know what Melissa had in mind!

Mackenzie's Parade!

Now that the Dance Moms season is over, we're going to do a few throwbacks! First one will be My Parade, Mackenzie's solo from season 2 episode 3.
This was a great dance for Mackenzie, I think it was a dance that expressed her spunky personality. She also did great on her tricks, and her energy level. Mackenzie's definitely a great soloist, following in her big sisters footsteps! Even though Maddie has more facial expressions in her dance, I think Mackenzie makes everyone in the crowd feel happy, and smile! With this amazing talent I don't see how Abby tries to make her be more like her sister. GO KENZIE!

ALDC mini's Cotton Eyed Joe

Now that everyone knows about the ALDC mini team I wanted to review one of their dances "Cotton Eyed Joe." watch the dance below:  
I think this dance is a really cute mini dance, and the outfits on these kids are adorable! They all did great at memorizing their steps, but I noticed some behind or ahead a few times. Although then again they are still young, and they're call the ALDC minis for a reason! I would definitely give them first place because they did so well in this dance! Sheer Talent Results

Abby Lee Dance Company went to the Sheer Talent dance competition on March 2nd-3rd and they have posted the competition results. This competition will possibly be on a future episode maybe in season 4. The results for the girls are:
1st Small Wonder Solo – Mackenzie Ziegler
1st Small Wonder Duet – Brooke Kosinski & Mackenzie Ziegler
1st Junior Solo – Maddie Ziegler
2nd Junior Solo – Nia Frazier

1st Pre-Teen Group – “Cotton-Eyed Joe” (Mackenzie is on this team)

1st Junior Trio – “We Believe” ( Chloe, Maddie, and Kendall trio)

1st Pre-teen Solo – Chloe Lukasiak

2nd Pre-Teen Solo – Kendall Vertes

HIGH SCORE OF THE DAY: SHADES OF GREY

 That dance was the best one at the competition!

ALMOST all the girls were in this competition, and I'm happy so many of them placed. 

If you didn't know this Mackenzie is not really on the team they say she is on Dance Moms, but she's actually on the mini's team. 
Again I'm happy Mackenzie is doing good, and that's why she placed so well!

The BIG Finale

Yesterday night on Dance Moms, ALDC was in NY for the View and a competition. Last nights episode was the 2 hour finale for this season!

Last night's group number had all the dancers in it, including both Mackenzie and Asia. I liked the group number, but I wish I was able to see the whole dance. I don't understand what Cathy and choreographer Anthony were saying about Paige. When they were talking about her, she looked just like the rest of the girls in the dance! She didn't appear to be lost nor did she make a mistake. I think they were just trying to be rude and make Abby. On the other hand, I think it was rude of Abby to call Paige off stage and have her talk to Cathy like that in front of a whole audience. I know Paige said that she was comfortable doing it because I don't think she knew how rude Cathy and Anthony could be. Overall, the group dance was amazing as usual and I thought it deserved to beat Cathy's group number about the day of the dead just because of what they did to poor Paige!

ALDC is in the Big Apple

Because Abby was invited to be on the View, the ALDC traveled to NYC with her. In New York, the girls were able to perform The Last Text on the View and now on tonight's episode, they are going to competition. Guess who else is there?
CANDY APPLES! Abby can't even journey to NYC and escape Cathy!

For this episode, I hope Mackenzie is ranked higher than last on the pyramid (if there is a pyramid) since she danced on the view, and I hope she is put in the group dance! She deserves to be!
